Terms of use
Last updated 29 September 2026
These terms explain what Trip720 does, what it does not do, and who is responsible for what. They apply when you use trip720 to plan a trip, save it, share it or book parts of it through our partners.
1. Who we are
Trip720 is operated by [Company legal name] ([ABN / company number]), [registered address]. You can contact us at [contact email].
2. What Trip720 does
Trip720 is a trip-planning service. From your answers it builds complete trip options, home to home, and estimates what the whole trip will cost. When you are ready, it guides you through booking each part with the company that provides it.
Trip720 does not sell travel services and is not the seller of your flights, stays, activities or transfers. Each booking is a separate contract between you and the provider named on the booking screen, on that provider's terms, and you pay the provider directly. Trip720 does not offer a combined package or take a single payment for your trip. See How booking works.
3. Prices, totals and estimates
- Live prices come from the provider at the time shown. They can change until you book, and Trip720 checks the exact offer again before you commit. If it has changed, you see the new price and decide.
- Estimates (for example food, local transport or getting to the airport) are planning allowances that already include a safety margin. What you actually spend may be higher or lower.
- The Safe Trip Total is a planning total that adds a contingency for things that commonly change. It is not a quote or a promise of the most you will spend.
- A trip marked as fitting your budget means no problem was found with the information available at the time, not that it is guaranteed to stay within budget.
4. Visas, entry rules and accessibility
- Entry and transit information comes from official sources, with the source and date shown. The final decision to let you enter or transit a country is made by that country's authorities and your airline, not by Trip720. Check official sources before you travel.
- When we say a trip "passes the check", it means we found no blocker based on the information available at the time. It is not a guarantee that you will be admitted or that nothing will change.
- When we say something meets an accessibility need, it means the evidence we have supports it. Please confirm anything essential directly with the provider.
5. Who is responsible for what
Trip720 is responsible for running its own planning, calculation, recommendation and booking-guidance systems with reasonable care. For example, if we send a provider the wrong dates or number of travellers, or miscalculate from correct information, that is our issue and we will investigate and put it right as far as we reasonably can.
- Providers are responsible for delivering what you booked with them, including changes, cancellations, overbooking and refunds under their terms. We show you their status and the next step.
- Authorities decide on visas and entry.
- You are responsible for the information you enter (names, dates, passport countries, ages, needs) unless Trip720 changed it, and for checking your bookings.
- Events outside anyone's control (weather, strikes, border closures) are not caused by Trip720. We may help you re-plan.
- If a booking request times out, we check with the provider before retrying and never assume it went through or failed.
6. The Help assistant
Help is answered first by an AI assistant that can explain your trip and run safe checks (such as re-checking a price or a booking status). It can make mistakes, cannot book, change, cancel or refund anything, and only states provider information that a check returned. You can ask for a person at any time; our team replies by email and does not offer round-the-clock support. In an emergency, contact local emergency services first.
7. Your account and your trips
- You can plan and see trip options without an account. Saving, sharing and booking need one.
- Keep your password private. Staff accounts use two-step sign-in.
- You can share a trip with travel companions by invitation. They can view it; they cannot book or change it.
- You can download your data or delete your account at any time from your account page. Deleting your Trip720 account does not cancel bookings you made with providers. See the Privacy policy.
8. Fair use
Do not misuse Trip720: no automated scraping, overloading, reverse engineering, attempts to access other people's trips or accounts, or false information entered to harm others. We may suspend accounts that do.
9. Commission
Trip720 may earn a commission from providers when you book through our links. It does not change the price you pay, and options are ranked by how well they match your budget and priorities, not by commission.
10. Your legal rights
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be excluded by law, including under the Australian Consumer Law and UK consumer law. Where the law allows us to limit our liability, our liability for our own services is limited to what is reasonably foreseeable, and we are not liable for services supplied by providers.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and we will tell account holders about important changes before they apply. These terms are governed by the laws of [governing law], without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
12. Map and travel data
Places, roads and what is around your stay come from © OpenStreetMap contributors (Open Database Licence), in part through Geoapify; travel guides and destination popularity from Wikivoyage and Wikidata. Travel advice contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0 (GOV.UK foreign travel advice): always check the latest official advice before you travel.
