How booking works

Last updated 29 September 2026

Trip720 plans your whole trip in one place, then helps you book each part with the company that provides it. Here is what that means for you.

You book each part with its provider

  • Each flight, stay, activity or transfer is booked with a separate provider — an airline, hotel platform, tour or transfer company.
  • Before you commit, the booking screen shows who the provider is, the current price and the key conditions (such as cancellation).
  • Your contract for that service is with the provider, on their terms, and you pay them directly. Trip720 does not take your payment, and your trip is not sold as one package.
  • Some items do not need booking in advance (for example food or local transport); Trip720 includes an estimate for them in your total.

Before every booking we check again

Prices and availability change. Just before you book an item, Trip720 checks the exact offer with the provider. If the price has changed you see the new one, and your trip total and buffer are updated, before you decide.

When is something booked?

An item is only marked booked when the provider confirms it, or — where a provider cannot tell us — when you confirm it yourself. Clicking "Book" alone does not mean it is booked. If a provider does not answer in time, the item shows as being checked until we know, and we never book it twice.

Changes, cancellations and refunds

These are handled by the provider under their terms. Trip720 shows you each booking's status and what to do next, and our Help can check a booking's status with the provider for you.

How Trip720 earns money

Trip720 is free to use. When you book through our links, some providers pay us a commission. It does not change the price you pay. Trip options are ranked by how well they fit your budget and priorities, not by the commission we might earn.
